When I miss the Wilderness
so white
the walls
no dirt
no curves
no leaf
that falls
into
my tea
a raised
and white
toilet
bowl
to pee
my toes
so clean
no ants
or things
between
my hair and feet
I miss
the dirt
the curves
the open space
I miss
that leaves
fall
into
my tea
I know
where I
belong
I always
know
my home
I’m glad
that too
I know
that place
deep
inside
of me
that place
that’s there
no matter where
I am
no matter
where I pee
